DJI Inspire 1 Quadcopter

DJI is the leader in drones and the company just introduced a radical new model. The Inspire 1 builds upon the success of the Phantom and integrates some of the magic found in the firm’s professional-level drones, including the ability to stream 1080p video up to a mile away. At $2,800, the Inspire 1 isn’t cheap, but it packs an unparalleled suite of technology in its arsenal. Josh Constine looks at the new DJI Inspire 1 Quadcopter.

Hello, can this copter film Formula1 race cars from the air? I mean, the idea of following them with a copter is fascinating!

I have been a DJI phantom 2 user and I know how dangerous the rotating blades are when not enclosed with rotor guards. Also the guards do help to protect the drone and the blades from damage in cases of awkward landings that tilt the drone on its side. So my next question is with the Inspire the blades are not guarded and will cause some serious physical wounding to a persons face and exposed limbs. Also, if in the unfortunate situation arises when the Inspire comes in contact with say tree branches or a solid structure I hate to think what will happen to the blades and the motors. Lets look at the landing gear: The Phantom 2 has its under-carriage always safeguarding your camera (say the Go Pro and gimbal). Now in the case of the Inspire 1 if and when you have a emergency landing or even worst a collision with the ground I cannot see the under-carriage coming down in time to save the 4K camera and attachments. What do others have to say?

Proud owner of DJI Vision+,this however looks like a (toy) parrot ar drone 2 with outdoor hull and gimbal and even the indoor ultrasound sensor technology  was first introduced by parrot, for £1800 I would expect something more professional and original sorry DJI not impressed.

As much as I like this quad. it's beyond my reach. I will stick with my parrot and other quads. I am buying the new Parrot Bebop which is way cheaper at $499. But one day I will own a Inspire. I do like the fact you can have 2 operators and you can move the quad out of the shot.

And also, when you crash it, it costs you about 2000$ to replace broken parts. I guess it's pretty cool for rich people.

But, I always seen in the videos  I`ve wached ,that the camera is always shaking , surely it affects the quality of the video right? in the long run, this will get looser & will cause problem to the buyer, please somebody answere this comment I made. Please don`t get me wrong. Sir , Madam , If this really will cause problem in the future , it should be corrected.

Can't wait for someone to post a video review. I really want one but don't want to throw away 3K.

Ok, why are red lights in the front and green in the back? I understood why brits drive on the other side of the road but this is like driving in reverse.
