Great movie. This part is particularly useful for those whose dad had a negative attitude. Not everyone can win, but if you have a positive attitude, your chances of success are far better.

It hurt a little to hear my own dad say this but its 2013 im 20 years old and i can play alot of these band's songs.

I've written about this clip a couple times. As a mother and coach I've watched so many parents words kill the dream within their children. I pray I will watch every word I whisper to others…

Watched this ~15 times before interviewing at my top choice medical school. Starting in high school and all throughout college, my parents were openly skeptical that I would graduate college let alone get into medical school.

    I got in 🙂

I don't agree with this as being the best part of the movie. I think the entire movie is the best part of the movie.

I dont know what you're are going through or how you feel, but all i can say is don't feel sorry for yourself for the rest of your life. Be happy, be the best person you can be, when the time comes, you'll be happy and happiness is the most important thing in this life.
