Retro Inspired Ponytail

I love this ponytail! I think it’s a great current take on bumped ponytails. To make it more trendy, leave the ponytail straight, more retro, don’t add extra volume to the base.

Followed directions exactly and had perfect results! My hair is similar length so this was such a helpful tutorial since many other tutorials feature ladies (lovely as well) with shorter hair and sometimes bangs. Funny thing, I have naturally curly hair and no matter what I do, setting, spray, etc., my curled hair doesn't stay, still looked awesome! Thank you :-).

Hi deary, your really good with the easy hairstyles and you have lovely hair. What I am more interested in is the highlights in your hair in this video. Did you do it yourself? I know its been 2 years now, but can we get an idea on how many strands were taken for this?

Kayley —   As a licensed professional hair stylist, I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this tutorial. If you love creating these videos you would do well as a professional hair stylist — or a hair stylist educator.  🙂
