Helpful video! I really like seeing how a tank looks when it is first planted. So often I see gorgeous, mature tanks and think "that's wonderful, but how on earth do I get to that? Where do I start?" Videos like this bridge that gap.

Love your videos… just recently subscribed – am setting up 360 litre tank… however can I suggest a video for you? You talk about what you put in the bottom of your tanks "plant srarter and the like" which is not available in Australia… so my suggested video is what you recommend that is available in certain countries srarting with Australia! You would know best where you're subscribers are from and it would be really helpful to have that information. Anyway love your aquariums… they are inspiring!

I want to challenge you to do a full natural looking aquascape using only plastic/silk/fake plants and cheap rock wood or found products. 😊😊😊

Please, it's funny with those 2 minutes tip. But could you perhaps make the video it self 2 and a half so the picture-links doesn't interfere the last part every time! Scape looks awesome! Thanks for your hard work!

    Nice Vid George!
Question: I have a problem using drift wood.. Tannins, it is giving my tank dark brownish color. Is their anything we can do to counter this effect? I have submerged this wood for a month and dried it as well. I make 50% water change every 2days to keep it from being too dark. This is really making me hate using wood on scapes..

Ever thought about cutting wood and using magnets to give the effect of it going through the glass or has it been done already ?

Loving the new format! I'd suggest to use more stabilized shots from similar viewing angles with this style of editing. For example take the classic coffee brewing scene from Peter McKinnon

Hi George, does your endorsed liquid fert add to nitrates in the aquarium? Mine seem to have spiked after dosing with it after a few days

what do you think is the best fertilizing substrate in Europe btw, I used tropica, dennerle and jbl, after a couple of years trying with them all I found that jbl aquabasis worked the best in my tanks.

Loving the new format of the two minutes. I still like your long form vids, but it’s refreshing to get the different lengths. Prolly easier for you to produce, too!!! Hope you’re doing well. Thanks for the aquarium advice and inspiration, George.

I thought deponit from dennerle was a fertilizing substrate, I use it under dennerle quartz based black substrate… am I doing it wrong?

Hi George, A great video but anyway of reworking the sound. The music was not loud it was right but your voice ended in a mumble as if the correct mic was not working.
