The Survival Russia Channel is about “The Reality Of Survival”. I live on a Homestead in far away Russian wild nature. Here is no room for “TV” Survival.
Only Reality counts here. Survival Russia promotes the philosophy of always carrying equipment and never to be parted from equipment which will affect chances of Survival.
So did the old timers and pioneers of both the East and the West.
Get Out and Train and Get it Done!

Allen (of all the thumbs up, including mine!) Said it much better than I can. That said, I grew up in the country on a farm. Still live on the home place. Everything you cover is life! Country living is not just about building fires in the rain.

HAHAHAHA, brother you had me rolling on the floor with the tinfoil hat comment! I bet most people just missed it. So funny. Lars, your channel is about LARS and what
LARS cares about, with a few bits about the pink troll and the wife, with some occasional hunting friends and motorcycle riders. SO, if for some reason that bothers someone, well, good riddance to them! Adios DOUCHE!

Lars, in the beginning of your video, in front of the house, the boards that are vertical, do they have a function or just decoration? Love your channel, take care and keep making videos.

As you say Lars, survival is not just dealing with emergencies, it is adapting to to your environment, understanding the resources that are available around you and utilizing them to sustain you and your family in as much comfort as possible. I am currently adapting to a lot of changes in my environment and way of living, I live in a trailer in a forest with Alpha predators and cold winters, at the moment no electricity, no running water and no sanitation.

Your channel is just gine. Your subscribers have your back. Keep on keeping on. I would add for those thinking about moving to a rural area ; get skills BEFORE you head out. Acquire skills and tools and save years of frustration.

You know you have become Russian if your first concern when the power goes out is the stash of frozen bacon (salo) in the freezer. Great channel, Lars!

Maybe some day explain how you heat your house, type of lighting (propane or lantern fuel), how you get water in frigid winter, and topics like that could be interesting.
