If you have only one day to spend in Yosemite, what should you do? John Muir said "you should go down to the edge of the Merced River and cry".

The parks are my life. I save up every penny to spend my holidays in the western park. When I read that Trump wants to sell off the parks and national forests I thought I die.

Well, Photography does take hours and some times years of planning, Not just a point and shoot and leave, Differance is you plan at home on the Time and day for the moon light and weather to be perfect, You show up, Take the photo and have hours of more work to do, You can always stay for hours in the same spot but once you know you got the shot you can leave and process it.

Yosemite should be closed to ALL drive in tourist. The are ruining the park. Make it a 20 to 30 mile hike in only. That would be perfection. I live in the Eastern Sierra and can't stand most tourist…. they leave their trash everywhere and bring their shitty attitude with them. No tall… but a good deal of them. Access needs to be much harder so you MUST earn it to see.

This is the most amazing video I have seen on youtube. I live in Finland, but I am now going to save money to travel to Yosemite, and hopefully not get abducted by the Greys while I am there.

The best video of Yosemite I've seen. I was there camping in July 2012 in Tuolumne Meadows camp ground. I stayed for a week. No where close enough time to see all the park. as a photographer I was in heaven! I am going back in May when all the falls are in full run off. I will be motor cycle camping this time.
