Rings of Saturn “Natural Selection” Drum Playthrough

Here’s my drum play through of the song Natural Selection from our third album Lugal Ki En. Drum part written by Ashton Kutcher prior to my joining, with film editing and production done by Dylan Furr.
Unfortunately not my tightest ever, and next time I won’t forget to play to a click.

Comparing this to Aaron's newer drum playthroughs, he's improved ten fold!

Apart from that terrible triggered bass drum sound and technique I do rather enjoy this video. Love the hand interpretations and ride work. Like I said, though, if you want great blast-beats/odd-meter stuff like this with ACTUAL bass drum go watch Matt Griener or George Kollias

this dude is shit. he has no real "amazing" drummer qualities. anyone can use triggers and sound fast. he's so sloppy, has NOOOOO sense of time, and can't even stay on beat to a song. he needs to practice with a metronome…

Lets all take a moment to appreciate that this guy here is taking all these comments claming he is a fake or that he uses drum triggers like a boss

Aaron Kitcher is a fake computer drummer who speeds up his recording and does meth before concerts, he's also the incarnation of Satan himself and came to Earth in order to eat all of your children. And by the way why does the title of this video say "Rings of Saturn"?

I just want to know how you trigger your bass kicks to be 32nd and 64th notes? I can see in your foot technique that nothing is changing, wtf?

Can someone explain WHY he puts drum parts that he can't play on an album, so he has to fake his playthroughs on YouTube? This would sound absolute CRAP if we heard the sound of the drumkit.

I'm not complaining. Just wondering WHY he does it.

Can someone tell me what kick technique he is using?!? That is bonkers. Is he playing double strokes on the kick? Or are they singles? It's literally too fast for me to tell

So many nob jockeys trying to ride his dick as if he's the messiah hahahaha

What a load of artificial shite. If he's gonna fuck his kit up like that, why not just use a laptop program for the same effect? Dickhead
