You made my life nice, when we were young
You made my life nice, I did not know we were living a lie
Life kinda fell apart, when we got caught-up in the disception of fame

I found myself answering, for thing this life leads people to believe
I was impelled to put everything into making things right
    Now, I'm down on floor,

Life with you was great, as long as ends could be met
You Just could not adjust to how our lifestyle became weathered
Life kinda fell apart, we could not live on the laurals of fame

Now, it has fallen apart, and pieces are being put back together
And here is a moment for you to remember, take a picture
Suitcase in hand. To much reminiscing, you got to live in today

To many irons in the fire, got to empty-out the closet
You act like you wonder why, but, you can't wish to live in the past
    TAKE A PICTURE OF: G O O D B Y E

Just had the pleasure of listening to this song as well as the rest from your album on PBS tonight. What a treat. Just as good today as the first time I heard you back in the 60's. So glad I got to live during the best years in music.

To me, Don Henley, was the voice of the Eagles… When he went solo I followed and bought his cds… Sounds even better now😍
