Pictures From Here Exhibition at the VanArt Gallery

I was recently invited by the Vancouver Art Gallery to a media event showcasing photographic works by local photographers, appropriately titled ‘Pictures From Here’. There are well known names like Fred Herzog, Jeff Wall, Ian Wallace, Stan Douglas and Greg Girard; but Vancouver is home to many great artists in the photographic sphere. Please follow along as I tour the exhibition, and enjoy my key interview with the exhibition curator Grant Arnold, Audian Curator of British Columbia Art. I also get to interview Henri Robideau, a fantastic Vancouver artist, photographer and friend. Please follow the links below for more information on the gallery as well as links to their various social media platforms:

This direction you took after the HK visit about a year ago is most definitely the way to go, turning from yet another gear reviews channel to something much more interesting and valuable with these interviews and events. Liked before watching too. Thank you and keep it up! 🙂

Hey Take, great video. You told me in an instagram live stream to check out an article by Bellamy about the Ricoh GR Digital III but I can't seem to find the link. 🙁

You really needed Cameragirl or B-roll guy for the interviews. Handheld lead to people staring at the camera at an awkward angle or simply gave that "in your face" feeling. Anyway, thanks for the video.
