His accent is not too bad. I live in cockney London and he sounds more Irish to me but he is singing a song not talking so it's OK. I have no complaints.

Pete Dunham's strange dialect in Green Street Hooligans, makes Dick Van Dyke look like a right geezer.

"Winds in the east. Mist coming in. Like something is coming. About to begin. Can't put my finger on what lies in store. But I feel what's to happen all happened before." So, that was the dramatic and poetic way to say. "I'm feeling de ja vu."

I always felt kinda bad for Miss Persimmon. She got stiffed on her part of the poem, and then when he started to dance she walked away kinda dejected.

Just remember how many Americans have been offended by British actors with bad American accents

I always thought the accent was supposed to sound funny. I has no idea that he was attempting a real cockney accent and I'm still not convinced. I like his funny accent. it adds to the character ..
