My dog died last Tuesday. Such a dreadful experience. This made me shed a tear thinking of my little girl

What a great poem! I can relate to this, because of the loss of my own dog…This poem touched my heart.

two giants of the entertainment industry – we've lost so much over time Johnny's understated humor and sophistication and Jimmy truly sincere screen presence (and a great man -read Wikipedia) There is no one today who can rival them

Anyone who has ever lost the stare of his/her pet can very much appreciate this poem. Truly moving. There truly is a Rainbow Bridge

To my dog Vito, you are very much loved and I miss you something fierce, when you got cancer I tried to save you but with all the money spent all we were doing was delaying the inevitable, and there was nothing more I could do, So I put you down and I know I did the right thing but I wish I could have one more day with you one more car ride and one more dinner at the beach. And I can scarcely think of you without weeping. I love you and miss you Vito..2006-2017 my big bad baby

Sometimes, when I need a "reset," required by the inundation of our modern media, I look at this video. The decency and humanity that Mr. Stewart shares reminds me of the the better people we can and should be.

I lost my best friend and my baby for 15 years last night. I can't even describe the pain I feel. I only hope that she knows how deeply she was loved

When I first saw this show it was live (taped) earlier that day and I didn't know how it was going to end just like the audience. Well when he said and now Beau is dead, the dam burst in my eyes. And still does 36 years later. I have had numerous best friends (dogs) since then and I miss each and every one of them to this day.

I remember seeing this for the first time, watched Johnny every night. It brought me to tears that first time and still does. Brought Johnny to tears too. If you never had a dog you don't know what it's like to lose your best friend and family member. I only wished that they could live as long as us. Dogs truly are Man's and Women's Best Friend.

Well, it's a nice poem about a dog named Beau. Sad at the end though…

I have been lucky to have great dogs. Each time they pass a piece of me dies. The last three died in my arms. Someone once said that" A dog loves you more than he loves himself." How true is that. I miss my pups. They were not pets but an important part of my family.
