Some comments here are not learned I don't care about intellectual, social systems of any age they are of no relevance, you are misguided and off the point. soul rebels fight before the first breath, if you hear the first trumpet then you are too late since the sound signifies the beginning of the end, unless you are already in the fight how can you know of defence. a soul rebel is what he is.

When I rhetorically suggested LKJ is communist that doesnt imply he was a supporter of every oppressive regeime that called itself "Communist"

Considering the FACT that the ideology of Marxist-Leninism was created in russia and implemented by those same revolutionaries it's safe to assume that soviet communism is true communism. Secondly LKJ wasn't against some communism regimes he was against THEM ALL.

    To Be Continued.

When I rhetorically suggested LKJ is communist that doesnt imply he was a supporter of every oppressive regeime that called itself "Communist"! I meant that in the sense that communism is about humanism and caring for your fellow man or as Marx put it, the aim of communism is the establishment of a society where the norm is "from each according to his needs, to each according to his ability". "Socialism" is the state of affairs between capitalism and communism (in Marx).

Non-Marxist socialism indeed existed and still exists, for example in religious communities. Anarcho-syndicalism was in the fewest cases non-violent. Maybe Leo Tolstoy can be pointed out in that regard, he was wealthy and his system only prospered under his rule. But Marxist thought remains important outside of the social order, namely as a historical concept (historical materialism) or in economic theory (Mehrwert, as in value added tax) etc.

I understand the recent discussion of Marxism-Leninism versus non-authoritarian Marxism. The fact is, however, that with the onset of Marxist thought, which includes the stage "Diktatur des Proletariats", authoritarian thought was a necessity to overthrow the existing bourgeois or feudal powers. Marxism does not really exist within a non-violent principle theoretically; the then-existing power structures needed to be forcefully destroyed. It was only with the onset of democracy when social democ

Being opposed to Marxism-Leninism does not make one an anti-communist. Orwell also wrote in-depth criticism of the USSR, but he lived in anarcho-syndicalist Catalonia (yes anarchism is a form of communism) during the Spanish Revolution and considered that system to be utopian in nature. I am also a socialist, but I am anti-Marxist/anti-authoritarian. Marxism is only one form of socialism, and Karl Marx was not the inventor of socialist thought.

Socialism has some "decent" elements to it however it limits personal freedom and relies on the state to care for its citizens. Death toll 2-5 million dead.

I'm neither a capitalist, communist, nor a socialist.

Communism is socio-political theory that is not in aacord with reality and has about 20 million dead on it's hands.

Capitalism while not great especially if you're latino or black is expontienally better than capitalism, however capitalism has a death toll of over 200 million in it's 500 year history.

Socialism has some "decent" elements to it however it limits personal freedom and relies on the state to care for its citizens.

    Awesome!
If he's a communist then he's a true communist, a humanitarian egalitarian communist, the way Marx always meant it!
