The reactions of the mothers is priceless. Spoken word artist K.Tellz leads a list of young people who wanted to give their mummies something to smile about on this special day – we thought they deserved a poem!

Loved the Nigerian Mum's reaction "Hey, Sweet mohda. I'm so proud of you my dohtah"

This made me smile from ear to ear and laugh from deep in my gut. I absolutely loved this and it shows you that it really is the simple small things that count. A nice word here and there every so often to those you love, is so important, because you never know when you won't get the chance to say it, as shown by the girl who couldn't get through to her mum, dad and godmother. There is a lesson to be learnt from this.

My mum would love that! That's her present sorted for next year.
