Poems by Bradley

The 3 poems: Planks / I Poured Salt On The Wound / Brad Taste In Music

I wrote 3 poems which feel to represent how I feel in my current position. A lot has happened between family and friends. It felt like a good time to do this. This marks a new era

In all honestly, it's cool seeing you be open about your emotions and changing your perspective. Good luck with everything.

    hey bradleyyy,

tbh, i came across your content because of twenty one pilots. i mean of course i did lmao. i then proceeded to watch pretty much all of your reaction videos because your attitude towards not just music, but literally everything, shows such an incredible soul inside you. but i never saw a man against emos or emo music. maybe u wont read this, maybe you will. i just hope you know that you bring way more than comedy and meme edits to your audience. this might not make a whole lot of sense, but you give us yet one more reason to stay alive. you bring so much light to this world

lowkey, i sound nasty for all this, but i feel like its necessary to let you know, im one member of a community that supports you and cares about you. welcome to the emotional people club brad. you’re not alone

Oh shit….ok I haven't not been following you for long…like less than a week. And I kinda got a little triggered at you for bashing twenty-one pilots, but wow I am really proud of you. Like I know you a lot more and from the small amount I have watched you I didn't really think you would make an emotional connection to your audience. But just like jumpsuit did for you, you blew my expectations out of the park

I never liked the word emo 'cause I always associated it with the look and dumb kids on the internet, but the almost one year ago i fell in love the song: famous last words. and shortly after The Black Parade album. I realized that the people who worship the fudge out of it, are just really passionate about it and probably don't have anyone to share feelings or passions with. Emo can be a powerful form of music, and it saddens me that the name is so misused. I am not a whiny, melodramatic tween. But i am emo. Beautiful poems, you're awesome! 😉

So.. what does this mean? I just got into your channel today and subscribed because you’re hilarious and even when I don’t agree i respec. But, as a newer fan and judging by your personality in your other videos, I thought this was a joke and satire at first. I need to know though like- is everything ok and what does this mean moving forward? (I love you by the way. I’m so invested into your personality and videos it’s great)

    Hey Brad,

Those are some great poems; I've been wondering how the first two would sound if they are produced into rap songs…

Anyway, having been into online music communities myself (AOTY + other sites), I can completely relate to you trying to find a community that accepts you. A lot of us spend too much energy on fitting in and being seen as "cool" by others, and are often pressured to compromise our honest self expression. Watching your videos are like having a conversation with a friend to me; I came to your channel for your opinions but stayed for your charisma and personality. It's heart-warming to see you being true to yourself and your audience and growing not only as a critic with a channel but also as a person. You're definitely a unique critique, and I'm excited for this new era.

    With love and best wishes,
    A fellow music fan

applause also… thanks for defining emo, too many people forget that it’s even a shortened version of emotional in the first place. It’s important to let yourself feel, and then let yourself express those feelings. So thank you.
