You might say, if I give my man a poem he will just laugh at me.  Maybe he will, but he will appreciate that you took the time to write a poem that comes from the heart.  Sure a love letter or short love note are always sweet things to show your love.  However, a poem that is full of emotion requires much more thought and feeling.

  • Never use negative or depressing feelings.
  • Create your own style, do not try to sound like a famous poet.
