Breaking Bad – 1995 Style

In an alternate universe, Breaking Bad aired as a network family drama in 1995. Here’s the intro.

An homage to the amazing and terrible television intros of yore. More to come.

NOTE: Wasn’t my call to limit mobile viewing. Youtube limited it because of the copyrighted music. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Video: Breaking Bad (AMC)
Music: Foreigner – White Lie

Oh my gosh, remember the episode where Marie shoplifted a tiara and gave it to Skyler, then once Skyler found out, everyone set up a huge intervention for Marie's habits? Marie's decision to change her ways with the support of the family just makes me tear up every time!

Remember the episode where Lydia dares Walt and Jesse to hijack a train. But Todd manages to screw it all up. Comedy gold!

All the guys who make these re-stylings get one thing wrong. If the last person mentioned in the starting credits is specifically highlighted with "AND", it states that this is someone special, like a guest star or something. It's a sign of recognition, to be mentioned this way. So "and RJ Mitte as Walter Jr." doesn't make much sense. Giancarlo Esposito would suit better, since he's a well-known and seasoned actor.

I am proud to be a 90's kid. Today's shows like Game of Thrones and Better Call Saul suck. WAY TOO SERIOUS MAHHN, WHERE'S THE FUCKING HUMOUR? 😉

I love the episode where Mr.White started working for Uncle Gus's blue candy factory and the episode where Jesse and Mr.White were playing hide and seek with Jesse under the car.

I remember watching them do a crossover episode with 7th Heaven. Does anybody remember what happened in it?

0:49 was such a hilarious episode, the one where Jesse helps Mr. White renovate his house and he accidentally cut through the floor and spilled all the red paint.

Boy, does this take me back? I was one of the lucky few who managed to snag the series Laserdisc. Thank goodness the series has been revitalized by Netflix so others can enjoy this classic.
