HURT – Nine Inch Nails cover – Run & Gun style

Sorry I’m late. I’ve received so may requests to do this one and I heard ya. Trent Reznor wrote it. Johnny Cash/Rick Rubin covered it. I tried to do something different with it. It’s actually 1BPM slower than Cash/Rubin. I was channeling “Wall of Sound” meets David Bowie/Liam Mckahey.
Oh! I recorded all of this in GarageBand on an iPad with my trusty Lewitt DGT 650 USB mic. I also shot the video on said iPad sitting on a milk crate behind my neighborhood Piggly Wiggly store. I ❤️ art & I ❤️ y’all!

Many thanks to my friends at LEWITT for the great DGT 650 USB mic. It’s got that feeling!. http://www.lewitt-audio.com

Thank you for this rendition. I liked it a lot, especially the close camera awkwardness!

I would love to see a fun, psychedelic, surrealistic, film maker team up with Puddles on some of his videos. He is such a wonderful artist and the collaboration would be off the charts entertaining. His voice is so strong. I became a fan after I first heard him do Royals. Some stop gap stuff would be awesome as well. I am a retired scenic artist and would have love to be part of something like that in my youth, I would have done it for the love of art and music. Maybe someone young, enthusiastic soul will fall from the sky and make my dream come true. You never know but putting it out there is the first step to manifestation.

Discovered this channel like 2 days ago, already a fast fan. If I have an odd request it has to be mmm mmm mmm mmm by the Crash Test Dummies

Puddles, have you done a Nirvana tune — Lithium or In Bloom perhaps? Please, please

Sorry Puddles, I love you, your art and your voice. But I will never see HURT in any other way than johnny Cash. His version I get it, the rest is just words. As the grown-up on Charlie Brown says Wagh, waw, waw, wagh, wagh.

Hello! I love your work! Any chance you could do a cover of Spread Your Wings by Queen or Cosmic Dancer by T. Rex? Keep up the excellent work, I look forward to seeing more of your videos! :'D

This song is magic. Whether it's this version (The original arrangement) or Johnny Cash's.

Are you still taking requests/suggestions? How about "Sea of Heartbreak" or "Counting Flowers on the Wall?"
