I don't get riled by Paddy Humour, well only a little. The only thing wrong with this sketch, are the accents,; they range between Belfast and Wexford, otherwise vell done kliene Englanders! Anyways, smell your sister, we're getting all you finance jobs

These two were and still are light years ahead of most of the so called comedians of today.

Ronnie Corbett playing the barman is trying a Northern Irish accent, with Ronnie Barker trying a bland typical Southern Irish accent.

This is just gentle fun–poked at our Irish cousins. No malice intended–and YET–in this perverted elitist PC world, it has been falsely denigrated as RACIST. We British are used to being paroded and mocked all over the world, generally, we just join in with the laughter or ignore it. Personally, I couldn't give a–what people call me.

Absolutely brilliant! Now come on all you folk who thinks this sketch is racist because it's picking on the Irish, nothing could be further from the truth. It's a very clever sketch twisting the English language and most of the humour comes from the fact that these two guys seem to understand each other…whatever their race may be.
Ronnie Barker in particular was a master of the spoonerism 😂😂

They sound like they're from the west country. How the Irish accent has changed.
