I am somewhat new with photoshop, and love how easily I can use the pen tool in illustrator. But I am having the hardest time making the ends of my path look like yours? where it is thinner at the end points. Can you help me with this?

I have a question……when I try to make the star effect it only shows as a straight line of stars instead of a scattered path. And I even checked 'scattered' when toggling the brush panel. What do I do?

No voice. Not even some music! and yet, it's one of the greatest tutorials… it's simple, fast (less than 8min is very good), you were surprisingly, extremely clear, even though there were no sounds whatsoever.. I mean… the results are awsome and this gives a lot of liberty on what you can do.
And!! you even gave a brush style so, thx for that.
    Very good video indeed. Congratulations.

Actually, when you made the pen stroke thicker by creating more layers and then merging it, you could have just kept the line path, clicked a different tool and just hit enter a few times. that saves some time since it will make it thicker by redoing the stroke as many times as you hit enter, and headache if you end up having to really make it thicker and end up with too many layers to keep track of in the midst of all your other layers.

I followed all the steps but it did not come out as good as yours. It was the clouds that messed it up. Any suggestions? I'm working on mac. Cheers.

In my case the clouds came out ugly, not good like yours, and i don't know why.

Sorry, it's really great, but I'm having a bit of trouble. You know when you have to click, "Primary layer thumbnail and ctrl." Then click "gradient," the gradient fills the background instead even though I am 100% sure that I'm choosing the right layer. I'm a bit confused about primary layer thumbnails, what is that?
