I would like to try something similar to this in my apartment but the walls are a 100 year old wavy mess.

I'm planning to use contact paper to create accent walls throughout our townhome because painting the actual walls at not allowed. I'm planning to paint the contact paper the color that I will be using. You mentioned that the orignal paint on the wall should be eggshell or glossy when using tempaperdo you know if this also applies to using contact paper because I just noticed that the paint used on our walls is flat and was wondering if I would be ok to continue with what I'm planning to do.

Wonderful video -thankyou!! Is there any kind of residue etc left over when it's removed eventually? I know you mention to use it on a slick wall finish. But just curious if even with that there's residual stickiness etc left over.

Also curious what you used to mark your wall with when drawing the straight line? Just a regular pencil?

    Thankyou again!!

Great tips! I've already done three walls, incorrectly, but it's up there. However, the next wall is in the living room and in public view lol. So thank you, will use all these techniques! Thank youuuuu!

Hi Wesley – why do you say the walls should be eggshell or glossy? A matte finish won't work?

If I were to hang this over existing wallpaper in a rental property, would it damage the original paper? Thanks!

Nice work! What are the dimensions of your wall? I'm going to measure mine but I wanted to get a rough idea of how many sheets I may need to buy.

Is this paper gold? Does it come in silver? If so, where would I find it? I love the pattern.
    Thanks!
