Jim Tiner, was my teacher as an apprentice at the United States School of Professional Paperhanging in Rutland, Vermont! Jim was always patient with me as a student as with others. Much of the great basic skills I learned as a professional painter and wall covering installer in Philadelphia were because of you Jim! Thanks master Tiner!

Are the walls out of plump or did not plump a line when putting up your first length using plump line or level.

It's good to see such detailed instructions for people who would like to tackle hanging wallpaper on their own.

I wonder if it matters whether you're hanging a vinyl or a pulp. I imagine the former would be more forgiving of being folded hard.

Thanks again Tim your a great help. I'm a painter myself and believe it or not i've never wallpapered and a neighbor asked me to do a little job for her so I'll be sure to use your tips.

    Cheers Tim!
